Custom Avatars

I have an avatar that is currently uploaded to my profile. Is it possible to make it my avatar or am I restricted to using one of the default options?

After setting up your account you can go into the User Control Panel (UserCP). Look at the bottom of the Avatar section and you will see an option to upload from your PC.

Be sure your graphic file isn't too big otherwise it won't upload.

Is the maximum size 40 pix x 40 pix?

I have a bit of an odd question and wasn't sure where to start. I am currently directing a play that requires up to twenty to thirty wooden boxes about a foot and a half tall and about a foot wide. Would anyone here know where we can get wooden boxes or crates about this size on the cheap? The more used the boxes, the better.

There are several crate companies that deal with used and/or recycled boxes. However, you will want someone locally otherwise you'll have shipping costs.
My suggestion is to go to the Home Page (Town Square) and look at the companies under Crates & Wood Boxes, and start calling them for your area. I'm sure there are quite a few you can call. If they don't provide what you're looking for you might want to ask if they know of someone who does in your area.
