Crate opening
Hi All,
need some ideas on opening crates in a receiving environment ( small box) 12' H X 18 L X 12 D that is made out of 1/4 inch plywood. The crate is dovetailed on the sides and small staples are used to attach the top and bottom. The crate also comes strapped with plastic, 4 in total 2 in one direct and 2 in another. Is there a all in one tool that can cut the traps and open the crate? Or better yet a machine that can do it all? Currently using a basic prying tool that seems ineffecient and antiquated. Help. Any suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Crate opening
Well one little trick about plastic straps is if they are heat sealed you can twist where they are sealed and pull back on the join and they will kind of tear then just pull on them and they will break.
As well a pair of Weiss Stell Snips work well on the plastic straps and as for the box just a regular flat bar should separate the staple from the box...
Good Luck!
