design drops out 4x4 blocking

I am trying to design a pallet using DEK2111. Under the materials tab on the right hand side of the screen I tried to add the 4x4 blocking I input my material and then quantity and lastly size. When I complete the design Crate Pro removes the blocking. What am I doing wrong?

I can't duplicate your error so perhaps I'm not clear on where the issue is happening. I selected the same style and chose Material Group 1 which includes 4x4 blocking. Qty 9 each 4". I changed the material for the blocks a few times and it re-calculated correctly with the new material.
Are you changing the BLOCKs field? At what point is it not saving the change?
Please provide more detail.

Just an FYI: We realized after reading you reply we had never activated the materials group in setup. We activated the materials group and now it's working. Thanks so much!
