Crate Pro Slowing Down

I've been using the program for awhile and saving pictures to each design. I'm seeing the program slow down. What should I do?

Hello New Crater,
This is an excellent question!
The reason you are finding things are slowing dow is that the pictures you are attaching are probably fairly large as is with most pictures of any quality.
There is a checkmark box when you are saving pictures in the lower left of the window you opened to save the picture. It says to save as a reference only and there by Crate Pro 5 will only save the reference to where the picture is in your hard drive and not the actual picture itself. It will still be shown on the screen and can be printed. Doing this you will not lose any speed to the program.

Please run the Crate Pro Utility file to repair minor corruption and clean up the files.

• Shut down Crate Pro 5. Multi-Users with Filemaker Server need to stop Filemaker Server services as well.
• On the primary computer or Host/Server machine for multi-user go to your Crate Pro 5 folder and locate CPUTILITIES
• Double click on the file and select Recover
• For minor corruption you may consider running the recover routine multiple times
• Close the Utilities - restart Crate Pro 5 and check your data

If your files are damaged or have greater corruption than can be repaired with this utility, please install your most recent good back-up
