under inventory and plywood

I need to add OSB to my inventory in Crate Pro. I can not find it under Plywood. Am I just missing it?

Great question!

Crate Pro 5 comes pre-filled in with a large amount of the most common imperial and metric materials. However, there are companies that call out their crating materials by a different name (such as non English speaking companies), or use materials not in the material list. Even many companies that build component pieces which are priced as though they are a single item such as skid mates pre-attached to lumber, or foam pre-attached to lumber.

It's simple to account for all of these situations:

• Click on the Inventory module and then on the tab that you wish to add to or modify a material.
• To add a material click on the piece of paper icon on the upper left of the screen
• To modify an existing item click on the Edit to the left of the material. It's information will appear at the top.

When adding a new material be sure to check your fields. If you leave out the price or weights or times, for example, these amounts will not be calculated in your crate designs. This can make a significant difference in your results depending on the quantity of that material used.
