Does price changing affect existing designs?

Should a price change in labor and material reflect on a existing job?

Any changes you make to Set-Up or Inventory will not change your existing data in Crate Pro 5.

This is to ensure you preserve all historical design and job information and there's no fear that when you change your lumber pricing, for example, that everything you've completed in the past has been changed.

Once you've made any changes in Set-up or other set-up modules all new designs and jobs will use the new data.

I want to add a note to this.

If you have any old designs that you want to repeat for a customer but you have new pricing, don't start over.

Select the design and click on Copy at the top of the screen. You'll get an option to duplicate the design and update your pricing based on what's changed!

This way you don't lose your original info but you get everything updated.
