Thread: What's a good event to build business?

  1. #1

Question What's a good event to build business?

I'm working with a reciprocal company I found on this site in South Africa and my contact asked me which events would be good to attend to build US business next year.
Embarrassingly, I haven't attended any conferences or events so I'm not sure what to tell him. His company primarily does crates for mining, in case that makes a difference.
    Any opinions would be appreciated!

Maybe it would be good if you could tell us more about their offering, or area of interest... reason being, conferences/trade shows can range from industry related (packaging materials, mining, etc), regions can range from (US wide, state show, local, etc) or you can go even more niche to offerings directly related to job functions (procurement professionals, operations, etc)...

Also, knowing a rough budget would help the scope of what is/isn't feasible.

    Good luck!

I sent him the information. I'm going to try to get him to sign up in the forums so he can ask questions.

    Thanks!
