Hardware needed

Looking at starting a new crating company. I have no source for hardware. I need to understand the basic hardware needed to start and the applications for the hardware.

Put a post in the Fasteners and the Design and Construction forum below. The moderators of those forums can probably give you some good guidance. One thing to consider is paper and janitorial suppliers in your area. They're all relative from the manufacturing aspect.

My knowledge here is very old, but you can probably also tap into suppliers of restaurant products such as Crown Zellerbach or their competitors. They can fill at least some of your needs.

Also speak with any corrugated box makers in your area and see who they know of.

But first, you can look at the Material Distributors and Foam Suppliers from the WCO home page here. Again, pretty much anything you need you can find somewhere on this site but you may need to do some clicking around to find it.
