Beam Crates

For " beam" crates. 12' x 4" x 6". These are screwed to 4x4 skids. Using 1" pine. These are not making it to customer. Ideas?

Do you have more details about the design? A cut sheet would help.

At that length, I would consider using steel torsion rods to go from the upper-right to the lower left corner and visa-versa

Are you talking about a Custom Skid? or a Crate?
How many beams (Runners) under the pine?
How much weight are you expecting it to hold?
What part of this is not making it to the customer?
Do you have any digital pictures?
