Thread: Nails or Staples

    Default Nails or Staples

When should I use nails and when should I use staples? Is there a preference?

Using nails is always better, with staples you have a better chance of the crate falling apart during transport.

I would add one piece of advice. If possible use screw nails. Also try to nail on a steel plate using nails longer than the two pieces of wood so that you will get a curling of the end of the nail, further insuring a tight closure. This is diffulct to accomplish with a staple.
